E-Bay Rip-off
Speaking of money, let's take a look at E-Bay and some of the crooks that linger out there just ready to take excessive amounts of money dishonestly from the public; their fellow neighbors and friends. Case and point, I was browsing for an item the other day, hoping to get a better buy from E-Bay then from physicallyrunning to the store. Well, I found the item I wanted in an E-Bay store, yeehaa, right? Only to discover that the item sells for $17.00 at Wal-Mart and the seller on the internet was charging $19.90 for exactly the same thing . Now I know when buyers get on E-Bay, they think they are getting a "deal" just by being out there, but let me tell you, there are tons of scam artists out there too. Watch the specific "ids" of the buyers and sellers and see if they are the ones taking the winning bids on the auctions just to turn around and resell the same item for a higher price. Or they will be far above retail, just figuring the unsuspecting internet buyer will "think" they are getting a bargain. This is crap, people. Don't fall for it. Wake up and quit giving these self-centered egotistical scam artists your hard earned money. Do the research and put these E-Bay scammers out of business. They are crooks with no consciences and think nothing of taking their close friend or neighbor to the cleaners behind there backs, with secure accounts, ficticious seller names, etc. We know who you are and you're not fooling us.

The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing
Have you read "The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing" yet? Wow, what an eye opener for me. After years of having firends and family run when they see me and making absolutely zilch for profit, I read Ann Sieg's e-book about the truth of Network Marketing. The "big boys" evidently do something very different to become successful, regardless of what they teach. Although they teach time tested processes, for a majority of people, they really don't work to the extent that they say. Just a few percent of those reps who do it "the taught way" make it and that's only if they have friends or find someone is as passionate as they are. I call tell you from experience, most aren't! Anyway, the long and short of it is, if you are in network marketing or considering network marketing, give this e-book a read. I have a link on my blog for your ease of retrieving this document. I think Ann Sieg has nailed it right on the head. Extremely different take of NM and an eye opener. Take a look. It's free.

Never Enough Money
How many of us really have enough money each month? I heard someone say one time that we either "don't have enough," and we all know what that means. Or we have "just enough," which means we're one pay day away from poverty or we have "more than enough," which means decisions come easier and we have peace of mind. Another scenario is: if you are driving down the road with the family on vacation and your gas gauge is reading "E," what is the only thing on your mind? Gas! And that is the only thing on your mind. Not which restaurant to stop at next or what are the plans for tomorrow; no, one thought "gas." And you won't be able to clear your mind until you stop and fill up. Only then can you think about something different. Money is nothing more than a tool. The Bible teaches that the "love" of money is sin. But it doesn't say you shouldn't have the riches entitled to you, given in grace from the Father. If you have "more than enough," your thoughts become what else can I do to help my family live better or what more can I do for my church or what can I do in my community to help my brothers and sisters who are less fortunate than us or what college do the kids "want" to attend instead of what can we afford. Your whole perspective changes, your thoughts and your very life changes. Money allows you to do things that those without can't. Repeating, money is a tool, nothing more. And the more tools you have to do the job right, the more you can do.
Now, I'm going to talk about what I feel is the only sure way to make the amount of money we are referring to here. As many wise business have said over and over, you will not be free, financially, unless you are working for yourself and not someone else. When you walk into work tomorrow, as you're going through the door, if you look up and your name is not above the door, you are making someone else's dream come true and not yours! Sounds harsh, right? That's reality. You need to give the same dedication to yourself that you give to someone else to truly enjoy the freedom of having "more than enough."
I'm also talking Network Marketing, which is the business that allows more families to experience this freedom than any other business out there. Why? Because the overhead is low, you are working from your home. You have no employess, no wages or compensations to pay out, no space to rent, no traveling if you wish, plus many, many benefits called deductions when it comes to tax time. Now, my wife and I have done a bunch over the years. We were in Amway twice, Herbalife, money pyramiding, bartering; excess product sales, you name it, we've spent thousands, or should I say, lost thousands. But...., I always knew in the back of my mind that working for yourself was still the answer. And Network Marketing is still the business of choice. In the summer of 2007, we were introduced to a new company by a close friend called Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing. We have finally found what we are looking for. The right business with the right management with the right service to create wealth. I won't go into to it in detail right now, but I encourage you to visit my website and look around. Simply, you get paid for what you are already doing! Do you watch TV? Does your family talk on cell phones? Do you shop at Lowes, Home Depot, the Buckle, Macy's, Toy's R Us, Target, etc? Do you eat at Chili's, On The Border, Outback, Olive Garden, etc? Are any of these companies sending you a rebate check at the end of the month just for buying? Why not buy these exact same items and services through "your" own business and make a commission on all you buy and use? Sound to good to be true? It's not and a lot of people are making a lot of money getting paid for what they already use, from their own business.

More Military...
Six years after being Honorably Discharged from the US Air Force, I was reading the classified ads in the local newspaper one day. One ad in the Help Wanted section was soliciting ex-Military members to call. So I did. I really did like the military but when they were phasing out my missile career, I didn't want to move. I was settled in Kansas and that was fine with me. Well, the number turned out to be a recruiter for a new Air Force Reserve unit that was being built. So, I called up and the rest is history. I re-joined the military and today have 31+ years booked on military and am still going. I'm a First Sergeant and have been for 10+ years and love it. I'm going for the whole enchilada this time. A few more years and I'll be getting the boot, but that's okay. I feel that I've done my part for my country. I was also deployed to the desert in 2003 for 125 days, sleeping in tents on the sand, so that was an experience we could share sometime as well.
If you have stories about your military career, I'd be interested in hearing them. These are the untold stories, behind the scenes, so to speak that never get publicized but the public should know. We are not on vacation when we do our duty, we are literally putting our lives on the line every day we put on the uniform. Because we could get that call or get handed that note that says. "Go get your bag!" We know that and I hope the public tries to understand that this is nothing that we take lightly. How many out there would put there life on the line in a split second? It really comes down to that reality, doesn't it? I would love to hear from you.

First Things, First!
I'm a military career person. I enlisted into the United States Air Force at the age of 18, after gaining my parents signature and blessing. The year was 1969 and the Vietnam War was in the finishing stages and the draft was still in effect. A boy had three choices when he came to his graduation from high school at that time and they were: (1) go to Canada (2) go to college or (3) enlist into the military. Well, needless to say my dad was a WWII veteran and going to Canada would be "death by dad" if I ever came home and since my older brother had used all my parent's funds for his college, there was nothing left for me. So, off to the recruiting office I went. Enlisting was much better than getting drafted, at least, you were offered a choice.
I did have a draft number and I remember it well; 222. I was a 1A rated candidate which was ironic because my brother failed his physical so I thought my chances were good to fail as well. Wasn't happening! I didn't know until years later that my brother and I had different fathers so the health issue that disqualified him was not present in me. So two months after enlisting at 18, my draft number was picked the month I was turning 19. Too late, I was already enlisted and in basic training at Lackland AFB in lovely San Antonio, TX. It appeared that their criteria for the draft at that time was how many men and women got killed the day before. If 200 got killed in Vietnam yesterday, 200 more were drafted and sent notices today. If I would not have enlisted, I would have been drafted anyway.
Well, I'm probably one of the only ones in the Air Force that ever got what he wanted. I scored so high on my induction test that the recruiter told me I could probably have any job in the Air Force, so I said, "How about missiles?" Well, after basic I found myself in missile mechanic school at Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX.
After a lengthy tech school in the summer of 1970, I was stationed at McConnell AFB, Kansas where 18 Titan missiles and silos resided. It was sure different being in the central plains with all the flat terrain as opposed to where I grew up as a child in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I would continue my active career for another 10 years, doing everything from turning the wrench on the missile to manning about every staff function behind the scenes as well. The 1980's saw the phasing out of the Titans, so that's when I phased myself out of the active military as well and separated in the winter of 1980, several months shy of eleven (11) years in the military.
But that's not the whole story. More to come ......
